I too have been getting these calls. Last year in 2012 for 2 weeks I was getting 5-7 a day. For the first 2 days I answered there was never anyone there so for the following times I never answered it when they called. Today (03/22/2013) I just got another one.The problem is we can call the FBI or CIA, but unless there is a threat against the United Sates they will do nothing about it, even if they were working on it they would never give us any information. We can respond to those calls by cussing and swearing or insult them, but that just fuels their fire and will call anyway just to annoy us to the point we have to change our phone numbers. The only thing I would say we can do is to call our local and national news media (Foxnews, NBC, ABC) so people who don’t know won’t fall for their scams. Maybe if enough people will contact the media then they might see a story in it and they might call the FBI or CIA and “May” get some information.A few years ago on our local TV news they reported a scam and talked about call back numbers. Seems that scammers are hacking their phone and the displayed on the caller ID can be changed so the 222-555-777 number could be from anywhere in the world (even next door for all we know). My only suggestion would be to just not answer it. After the 2 weeks they called it stopped and got maybe one or two every few month .

I got a call from this number and asked to be put on their DO NOT CALL list, he told me he cannot and started laughing at me and mimicking me. So>>> i have a very loud surprise for him when they call back.

They're trying to say theres a virus on your computer / internet when there is not i personally just piss them off by arguing and i dont doubt that they're the same company who tried the microsoft scam not too long ago.

Have been told that picking up and hitting the # key may mess up their connections, so that could be worth a try ...

i'm on the do not call list & receive a lot of on unsolicited call. what good is the do not call list ?

just got the call this morning, no one there. Think if someone tells me that I have a virus.. I will say "yes, I spoke with my doctor.. he says that it is the asian flu and gave me some antibiotics to get rid of it so all is well.... but thanks for your concern... then toss in a few expletives.

I got a call from 222-555-7777. they said they are from Microsoft trying to fix my computer they were convincing because they have my computer name and ID. he connected to my computer using the website ammy.com. I have no idea what is going on with them. he is using the Microsoft name. Im afriad they are hackers and will hack my information. please help.
