Something I'm not understanding about some of the comments -- how does it use up your minutes or data if you don't actually open and read the text? On my phone (which is not a smartphone) I get an alert when a text arrives, but when there's no content in the header, like this number always does, I know it's probably spam and just delete it instead of opening it. No minutes used at all. Are you guys saying that on your smartphones, your data gets eaten away by a text you don't even open? Maybe I've got the right phone after all -lol

How do you get out of a group message

just spoke with at&t --this number is associated with an app -- the person is texting from an app; however I shows up on the phone as the person not this number -- the usage summary shows this number not the person's number who is using the app

There are multiple texts from this number in my husbands usage summary on bill but not on my number and I'm in group texts with him so how can it have to do with group texting?

I noticed them on BF's phone bill too!! Tons of them!! At first I thought porn too (lol) and it is funny how it seems to be happening to just men. Lol. Buuuttt, he also go a group message around the same time as one 'series' of this # started so that may actually be one issue. This # just showed up over the last few days & some of the 'series' of texts were not at the same time as a group message.
