I've received numerous calls from this number over the past few months and found it alarming since the Caller ID says "Police Protection." I finally decided to research it and found this site. Now I know to never answer this call.
These people continue to call fairly often although we have told them we are not interested and never respond to telephone solicitations (too many frauds there).
Called at 6:25 pm. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. We should call and bug them...
Calle while no one was home but I have told them in the past that I did not want any more calls from them.
He said he was collecting for "fallen policemen and firefighters." When I questioned him further he got very defensive and said "We are a nonprofit organization. All of our proceeds go to fallen policemen and firefighter families." Then he said "Yes, whatever" as a response to something else I said and then I hung up.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
