Called wanted donation for Police that had been killed or wounded in the line of duty. Told him that I only gave directly to Police Departments that solicited regarding a particular officer. Since I've never seen this happen, that stopped him. He said thank you.

We are receiving daily telephone calls (and sometimes multiple calls in a single day)from this number (301-762-6650). The caller does not leave messages. The calls are annoying and disruptive.

I just got a call from 301-762-6650, on my caller id it shows up as POL PROTECT FUN, the phone # is registered to John Farrell.

"John Farrell" just called. He hung up on me when I questioned the group. Got this number from the caller ID. I think the state AG office should investigate Mr. Farrell, if that is his real name.

Here's what I do, I tell them: "Sure, I'll donate $100 to your cause. Send me some literature and I'll mail a check." Of course, I never send a check to them. When they call to follow up, I say: "Sorry. I forgot. I promise I'll do it today."After this goes on a few times, they decide to stop calling me because I'm wasting their time and money.

just got a call from 301 762-6650. i was on another call and this number beeped in...john farrell..i said hello...lots of noise in background...sounded like a bar room...i said hello again and a male voice said hello...and then hung up. read all the other blogs....thanks for the update.

The caller ID indicated "Police Protective Fund". I simply ignore it, did not leave a message. annoying

Received call from 301-762-6650 at 18:35 today. Answered and phone clicked rang and went dead.
