Addendum to earlier post: ID also said "Card Services"

Yes, I applied for a credit card with Bofa online and there just called to verified my name and account.

Received a call from (302) 458-1590 this morning alleging a fraudelent transaction had taken place. The message cut off and did not hear what bank or credit card carrier it was. It's all a scam.

Caller said that I had some charges on my card (no mention of what card...)and their name was Card Services.

Received a call from this number. Asked for my daughter who hasn't lived here in many years. Told them no one by the name requested resided here. They then hung up without having identified themselves.

Got a message on my answering machine (sounded pre-recorded) saying there had been suspicious activity on my charge account. They left an 800 number to call back (sorry, that was garbled, so i was unable to get the number). Since the caller only identified themselves as "Card Services" I have not called back. I have a couple of cards with different companies, so I suspect this is a phishing attempt.

No it is not legit. It's a scam to get your credit cards. They are using a bunch of different toll free numbers. 877-388-6560 and the 302-458-1590 gives you the other toll free number 800-441-7048.Call your credit card company directly and ask them if they use that service. Supposedly the name is ASI.Good luck

Yes IT IS LEGIT.This IS Bank of America. They just called me with this number to verify that a transaction I just made wasn't fraudulent.Again, this number IS LEGIT.

She said she was from BOA fraud protection. She isn't. HANG UP!!

I got the same message from 302-458-1590. I don't have an account with BofA. So much for this being legit.
