Call the number back and when the recording comes on saying the mailbox is full, Press 5 and it will tell you the number you are calling from. Now Press 2 and enter the number of your local FBI office, then press # and that number will be sent to their marketing pager. Tell everyone to do the same!
Everyone,After doing the FTC thing for several years, speaking with law enforcement, being on the no call list and et cetera.Found a simple solution for this issue! Put a distinctive ringtone on numbers within your contact list, cell phone and home phone (most digital phones will support this, but older analog phones may not). You may then ignore the default ringtone and answer those calls with your distinctive ringtone. In the event it is truly an important phone call, they should leave a voice mail.Cheers,LukeJedi KnightMay the force be with you.
I keep receiving calls from this number and they never state the name of the company, only they can lower my credit card interest rate. Each time I press 1 to speak with someone to request to be taken off the list, they hang up on me. I try to call back, but it states the "voice mail box is full" and I am unable to leave a message.I do not want these calls anymore... as it's multiple times per day. If I continue to receive calls, I will do my best to report this as harassment.
yea thee ppl call me allt he time,,,apparently they're used to getting hold of frustrated people they hang up rather quickly wqhnwe i tell them im 100k in debt ,but im thinkin they use a computer dialer to dial all sequential numbers,,i average 2 or 3 calls in maybe 2 days,,,always starts with a pre recorded message from "Ann",,they're goin to verizon as a nuisance caller,,if i had a credit card i sure wouldnt get into enough trouble to need them
They several times a day and when you answer they hang up, also, when you call the number back it goes directly to voice mail
What you describe is known as email and caller ID spoofing. you can cause emails to appear as if they were sent from another address (other than the real one), and you can make virtually anything appear on a caller ID device (email addresses and numbers you can't respond to because they don't exist). If you have an android mobile phone, there is an app for caller ID spoofing. I'm sure there is also software for email address spoofing. My advice is if you don't recognize the phone number DON'T ANSWER. If you don't recognize the email address DO NOT OPEN THE EMAIL. I hope this helps.
These people call me almost every other day. I started being nice and acting like I wanted my credit card interest rate lowed, but they hang up on me every time now. WTF are they trying to do?
