This number needs to stop calling my house. They have called here FIVE times in the last 4 hours! We do not want to take their survey, we have stated so FIVE TIMES. I will be filing a complaint with FCC online myself if they call here one more time!
I did that. at 4:24 pm today. then again at 6:20 pm and again at 7:10pm and yet again at 8:06 pm and then again at 8:46 pm tonight! and 5 more times on 1/27/12 as well. How many times do i need to tell these ppl to leave us alone! I filed a complaint with the FCC.
It was "Aspen Media and Market Research". They wanted to give me a free subscription to a magazine. I was not interested. Marie said, "Aspen is a legitimate call center/market research firm. This is REALLY what they do. I work for a trade publisher and have worked with Aspen. We make calls to numbers provided by subscribers for use in subscription maintenance. We follow all the laws and rules, as does Aspen. I DO NOT work for Aspen but I have done a lot of professional research on them (as part of my job) and they really are on the up and up."Well... if this is the case, tell me why -- when I answered the call -- they hung up on me (after only 2 rings). We have relatives in Boulder who are all experiencing a pending death in the family. That is the only reason I answered. These Aspen people should be jailed for hanging up on people. Legitimate? Hell no! Aspen is about as illegitimate as they come, in my eyes.
303-786-9500 called.... nothing showed on call id... She asked for my boss by name.... I immidiately look up the this number,, and found that it is a research firm.... I then told her that my boss wasn't available... She said may I speak to his assistant or secretary... I said this is she... She said I just need to verify some info in order to send him a free subcription of our magazine.... I said thank for calling, he wouldn't be interested! She said okay....
It's unfortunate they are using desperate people to mine people's information. There's no way it's "just" a survey. They are getting paid by someone to collect that information. Then they get some poor guy who just got out of jail to do the dirty work. Its reprehensible at best. Terrible practices from terrible companies.
I didn't bother answering, but these clowns called me like 3 times on a freakin' SATURDAY fer cryin' out loud! Glad I don't answer numbers I don't know--and thank Khrist for google! (and this site):-)
This number has been calling our office all day long for at least the past couple of weeks. Most of the time there is just dead air when the call is answered, but they continue dialing our company every 12-15 minutes. Politely declining their calls or explaining we are not interested in their free trade publications does not work. Very disrespectful of our workday.
