Just a quick note:The above message I posted yesterday at www.whocallsme.com.Today's update is that they did in fact make good on their threat to call me everyday because they called yet again today, luckily I was not home or I would have flipped out!I'm posting this as well as updates as it's a great way to keep track for law enforcement when as well as media for when I do take action. I recomend that you do the same!Don't forget to email this "unknown companies" service provider with your complaints and maybee they'll finally pull the plug on this piece of garbage company!Abuse@intermedia.net

Called this morning, I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. Got an automated message similar to what Jaime reported above - cut off at the beginning, but the last part was about lowering interest rates. The voicemail left a callback number of 1-800-394-5884. I called them back from a different phone - guy answered right away as "Card Services". I said "Credit Card Services?" and he replied "Card Services - we lower interest rates on your credit cards". I asked where they were based, he said Texas. I asked to have my number added to their DNCL, he read back the number I called from, I confirmed, that was it. I am in Canada.

Recorded message, "Rachel from cardholder services".I always recommend buying a "Telezapper" ($20-30 on ebay) -- it's worth the expense & will cut down on computer-dialed calls from a particular type of dialer. If they're using a "predictive dialer" it will boot your # out of their database by beeping as though your # is a disconnected one.However, in this case it may not be working as they've called our # about 3 times.

Yes same as the others, credit card services. Voice mail picked up midway through, so I only get something about lowering credit card rates. I call and they take my information and will get back to me, but I like that they will save me money.

Je reçois régulièrement depuis un certain temps...voire quelques mois des appels 'inconnu', j'ai un appareil Panasonic, afficheur, etc.J'ai d'ailleurs fait installer l'afficheur pour SAVOIR qui appelait...rien à faire...et Vidéotron ne peut bloquer un numéro...j'étais capable il y a vingt avec le Maestro de Bell...199...Désagréable et incommodant...faut pas être nerveux...et on espère que ces appels seront de jour seulement...Et...je suis sur la liste pour ne pas être appelée...y faut croire que des listes sont encore vendues...

This is a telemarketer for Citi Credit card from the US trying to get me to switch credit cards. I live in Canada so I wish they would loose my number and place me ont heir do not call listing. I called the 1-800-=394-5884 number and asked to be removed from the calling list. I believe that the agent at the other end was just paying lip service to my request. I will see if the honour the request.
