My policy - don't know # don't answer. tired of these calls. Still can't believe that they are still getting away with it!!

Have received many calls from this & similar numbers after blocking. Thanks to all of you for reporting this scam.

401-583-4565.... I missed the call and called right back to hear this --Really ?! " "the number you have reached is not in service - Cox Communications!"How do they do this ? I don't believe it's Cox either ... Thanks to you all of you for your previous posts. I looked up this number before I called back and within seconds of their call and my callback " the number is disconnected "geez... Was I someone's Life Line ?

I continue to block this number and they just call again with another number....I have blocked them all and they still manage to call again.....annoying

From: 401-583-4565I did not answer the call. It was to my new tracfone. And no one with that number has my number.

Left no message. Already on DNC list, but still came through. Scammers.

By picking up, you also let them know when you are at home to be annoyed by their calls & that your number is a working number.

THIS CALL CAME IN ON MY CELL. ONLY ABOUT 5 PEOPLE I KNOW HAVE THIS NUMBER. I DIDN'T ANSWER. I'VE LEARNED TO CHECK THOSE NUMBERS OUT HERE.

I just received a call from this number. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Now I will give them a name and when they ring again, i'll be able to quicky i.d. them, never answering them. Thanks everyone for your imput! Let's hope the FTC can catch them.
