If you call your local Walgreen's, they'll probably tell you it is a new service they've started ... if they see a customer refills a prescription routinely, they'll get a reminder phone call. It is a service to their customers. I got the call a week before I need to pick up my prescription.

This number is Walgreen's refill service. No doubt about that at all. If you call them back, it will know your name from the number you call from. It then asks you to enter your birth date. Do it, then it will tell you the prescription ready to be refilled by name. Press a number to refill it, or don't. End of call.This number will not ask for your SS # or anything else. If you receive a call and answer on the spot, there's a TINY possibility that it's a person camouflaging their number. If that's the case, just listen. If they ask for anything other than a birthday, hang up. Otherwise, you're good.Call back the number listed and it will not reconnect you to the scammer, it will call the legitimate Walgreen's refill number, as they own the number.No reason to be suspicious unless you answer their original call and receive any questions other than name and DOB.
This is Walgreen's refill number. It is centralized so even if you're in another state it may come through as I believe NE. (I would assume others pharmacies under the Walgreens umbrella like Duane Reade might come through here as well.)They call every month and I pick up my wife's prescription every month that I refill during this phone call. It's real.If you are receiving a call and you don't have a prescription with them most likely someone who does have a legitimate prescription had their number entered incorrectly.
I'm assuming "Howdy" that you are either some kind of conspiracy nut or you are just trying to be funny but this is definitely Walgreen's Prescription Reminder Service. They left me a voicemail and my prescription is actually 3 days from needing to be refilled so I think it's a great service they are providing.
