I don't recall receiving a call from this #, but it showed up on my credit card statement for a $170 charge from Paypal *Keystone 402-935-7733, CA. I was able to get through to an agent at this # by going through the Dispute option - after a quick runaround message I was given the option to go to "agent". I waited about 5-6 minutes and did get a live person. Believe it or not, my charge was in fact legitimate. Turns out that the charge was processed by Paypal on the receiver's end, not my end. So even though it did not appear as a transaction on my Paypal account, it showed as a Paypal charge on my CC bill.
I received a charge on my from 402-93507733 and I don't recognize the company-I am the only user of the card
If it is not a SCAM...them how come they don't show up on caller id? How come they don't leave a message if it not a SCAM? How come they call after normal business hours? If is quacks like a duck, then you be the judge.
I got a call from +14029357733 - I don't live in the US hence the +1. I was having a kip so didn't answer - Googled and found this. Thanks Internet, you're great. Yes, I sent someone some money via Paypal this morning, so it must be that. But no caller ID… I think the reason for no caller ID must be, that someone else could maybe copy it, and then people would be handing over their details to the bad guys…
I had a phone call today from the +14029357733 number at about 4:30 today, claiming they were from paypal. As I already closed the account earlier in the day after spending best part of a week trying to get my money back (in excess of 900).I sent an e-mail to PayPal informing them of what has happenedI have changed all my passwords I could think of. ** IMPORTANT **If you were hacked via your e-mail check your e-mail forwarding preferences on the webmail. I found an e-mail address which was going to YMail account. Erase this immediately, before a copy of any e-mail get copies and sent elsewhere.
I got a call from this number in my cell phone while I was driving, so I did not pick it up. I google and find this site.
