Yes, this is a PayPal number, but the A-holes did not leave any kind of a notification or message. Typical of PayPal. Always protecting your account, but screwing it up at the same time. I have more security measures in place for PayPal than I do for my own banking accounts.
I got two calls and was concerned if it was a scam. On the second call I listened to the full message without responding, it left a call back number which was different from the 402-935-7733. The call back number left was 888-221-1161. I googled paypal and it showed 888-221-1161 was consumer service. I called that number to see if there was anything fraudulent going on with my account. Sure enough a charge for $1194.94 had been charged to my account and since I had no money in paypal it was pulling money out from my bank account. Thank goodness I called them, It is very real and I let them know this was not my transaction. They said they would refund my bank account.
Just got two bogus charges on my American Express Card, listing this number. Beware: Someone is using PayPal to charge bogus charges on your credit cards.
I did not get a call from 402-935-7733, but it appeared on my AE Gold Card statement six lines for $15.20 each Description " PAYPAL *SKYPE 4029357733" with the same transaction date. The charges are coming from San Jose, CA. This is a SCAM. AE was investigating these charges, and should be reported to the proper authorities.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
