Got a recorded call from this scam. I am on the do not call list and will be sueing them if possible. If anyone has any information as to the identity of the phone number/company's owner and address , please post here.
Saw the number, just hit the speaker phone button, then hit it again to disconnect the call. After reading some of these posts, seems like that was a very good thing to do.
Calls daily from this phone number to our home and we are on the do not call list also. Why isn't something being done about this number after so many complaints. Luckily we don't answer the phone...
Got a call today from 406-720-2099. It says "Credit Services." I am on the Do Not Call List. Will keep track of all the unwanted calls I get to see if they are calling multiple times. The State of MA will go after those who violate the Do Not Call List. Do not endulge them with conversation or give them ANY personal information. Simply tell them you are on the Do Not Call List and they are violating your state's law. They will hang up on you. Keep track of all unwanted calls for evidence!
Got a call today. You can report these people all you want; they are running a scam and committing a felony. The problem is that even though they are making millions, the law is so vague on this point that they can get away with it.Complain to your Congress representative.

I received a call from this #. The caller ID said "Credit Services". They've called several times. I never answer calls from people I don't know. They never leave a message.
They called today 2/4/2011 at 9AM, answered and heard something about my credit score is fine, they can give me a 6.4% rate on whatever. I pushed the 2 button as instructed to stop future calls, guy with strong accent said, "Hello, how are you today?" and I said, "Who are you?" and he hung up. Hmmm. I blocked the number on my handy Panasonic phone, no more calls can get through.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
