Called twice around 2:35 AM. Don't have an EBay account. On the Do Not Call registry. Blocked the number.

Someone may have simply tried to use that number to initiate a feature on eBay. You should be thankful that the security check exists. Otherwise, your daughter's phone may have been associated with a criminal's eBay account.You are looking at this the wrong way. It is security measures like this that protect you and other people from fraud.

To say "...you are most probably part of the scam..." is idiotic and reckless. I am sorry to break it to you, but you do not know what you are talking about. This number is in fact eBay

This number is from Ebay as I just signed up for an account to sell things. This call activates your phone number. So, it is legit. Though, people may be entering in the wrong phone number (ie: yours) and therefor you're getting a call from someone you don't know. Don't answer it if you don't recognize it, I usually say.

Oui, vous avez bien vu : en 1 minute débité pour 25 minutes. Incomprehensible. Quelqu'un a t il eu la même chose ? Que faut t il faire ? au secours

Those "Jerks" were trying to protect you or your eBay account. If you read the comments here, common sense would kick in and you would realize that this is actually a very good feature of the eBay security system.If someone used your phone number without your permission, that person is the jerk. If you have that number associated with an eBay account then someone was trying to hack it thus eBay protected you thus making you the jerk for your comment.

This call is a spoof. Just someone harassing you. I got 3 and called ebay (through the web site, not mu caller ID). I got one while chatting with ebay! You should change your e-bay pasword (to safe) and report the caller to the police and phone comp. This is what e-bay security told me to do. It is not ebay calling!

3 calls. 2 on voice mail. The last one I picked up. It was an automated call saying it was from eBay. It said if I was expecting this call, press 8. I thought it was for my husband. So I did. It gave me a 4 number verification code and told me to log in again. (Right) He said no, he hadn't logged in for a long time. Either have I.

I live in eindhoven, the netherlands and I never saw so many police getting nervous when I walk in this particular station, especially in the mathildelaan,.. I don't know what kind of simulation exercises and hobbies these people have in there free time,... but perhaps they are looking to the wrong profile or temperd profile as I'm just a belgian homo sapien trying to make a living in eindhoven, noord brabant.
