I got a call from this number at 2:05 a.m.! It was very startling since my Mom has recently been ill! Yup, my caller ID say's EBAY INC. I haven't been to eBay for 5 Months. Guess I'll go check my email to see if they sent me any messages.I am also going to send eBay a message and let them know I got this call at 2:05 a.m., and that I haven't been there in 5 Months.

Received 3 calls this morning around 6:00AM from this number. Did not answer phone. Thouht it must be sometype scam.

I just got two calls: 4am, and probably 15 minutes later. Hung up the first time. 2nd time, i figured if i pressed the number they were requesting maybe I would get to yell at whoever is on the line.Unfortunately, that didn't work. The line went dead. I reverse dialed and got Ebay!So, I changed the passwords in paypal and ebay accounts.

Huh? Got a call from Ebay and have never had an account with them nor have ever purchased a single item on their website AT ALL! I don't call back. I just erase it from my phone.

I just got 3 calls back to back from "Ebay"--the first two calls asked me to press '7' if I was expecting the call--I was not expecting the call, so I pressed nothing and hung up. The third call asked me to press '4' if I was expecting the call and I hung up. I will go change my passoword also.

Yes its ebay, i called the number back by mistake, a 7 second phone call cost me £1.25!!! oops

I'm in Australia and received a call from this number at 5.30am this morning. Told to press 5 if I was expecting a call. I just hung up and so far haven't had any more calls. Haven't been on eBay in forever and don't use paypal. Think i might have to send an email to eBay cos I wouldnt evenknow my password to change it. How frustrating!

Got two "wake-up" calls in a row, and now an afternoon call. Always the same stupid message: "If you were expecting this call press 8." Nothing about "this is Ebay..." Although it probably is. I'm not about to press 8 to find out, though. Maybe hackers who play the "lost my password" game do this, not realizing all that will happen is that eBay calls the real number of the account, not their phone number. But, more likely, if it happens more than once, it's some gutless prankster jerk paying the "haw haw haw, made you answer the phone" game.

Received call on my cell' Googled phone number and every one say it is Ebay. have never bought anything from Ebay or had any accounts with them. Must be a scm.
