I just got a call from this same number. I woman asking for Darrian. Very weird...I just hung up. They called back, but I didn't answer. I called back and voicemail picked up regarding Social Security. I am just wondering why they are calling.

This number is definitely from the Social Security Department. Had very recent information that only they were told in the last week.

got a call at 6:12am in oregon. woke us up. they hung up before we could answer. this is annoying.

It's not the Social Security Administration. I work for SSA and keep getting these calls at my office.

I have been getting calls from this number for a year now! I answered it a few times and there was nothing. I call it back and hear an automated system stating that it is the Social Security Administration. I have received calls at all times throughout the night. How do I make it stop?!

I actually went through the entire automated system one day and spoke to a woman and she said she would inform the people in charge of the phone system (and that it must be a glitch) and try to get them to remove my number from the automatic caller. Obviously, that did not work.

I also get these calls at least once a week, day or night. I ignore it and turn off my ringer at night.

News flash the ID thieves post here with comments saying this number is real. Never ever give your SS # out. These scumbags do nothing but send out phishing emails and make annoying smishing texts and calls all day long.

Get a phone which has a blocking feature. If it's a land line do *69 and then look it up here. Ignore the comments which say the call is legit because the scum post here to confuse people. Block these calls immediately
