Call at 1:16pm PST Male voice "No message" & hangup
called at 3:00PM EST on 4/10/08 wasn't home no message left. Wish we could block phone numbers as easy as E-mail spam :(
Received a call 5/20 at 7:57 a.m. Caller said it was Social Security and wanted the first 5 digits of my Soc Sec #. Why would they need that? Scam. I called back later out of curiosity and it rang and rang. Then called back later & got answering service that says it's Social Security and that they are closed for the day. Called today and someone answered. I told her that I had spoken to someone yesterday and couldn't remember who it was. She asked for the 1st 5 digits of my SS#. I told her that the information was not needed by her. She said that's the only way she can get me to the right person. I told her that I had called the Soc Sec Admin and was told by them that this # is not associated with the Soc Sec Admin and that they had better not being pulling any funny business. She hung up. I'm worried about these people. What are they up to?
Thank goodness you guys have this on the web. I too got a call from this number on my cell phone and was unable to answer it. I rarely will call back from caller ID if no message is left. So I was trying to figure out if it was someone I knew and googled the number only to find this GREAT information. I'm glad not to call them back and I'm glad you have this provided.
You folks are paranoid. 410-965-1234 is indeed the Social Security Administration. The reason they need the first five digits of your Social Security number is so they know what office to transfer your call to. Listen to the menu and you will have an idea of possible reasons as to why they called you.
410-965-1234 just called the business line in my house. very weird. kind of confused by this.
chatted with this person on fanbox.com, profile and pic was of a woman. But it was a man posing as a woman.
Just got this call but they wanted the last 4 of my SS#. Not sure what the deal is as what can one do with a partial SS#. Glad to see this as it's apparently some sort of scam...I wonder if it could be collections people masking their #?
Recieved a call from this number at 9:31am on 10/27/08. When I checked my voice mail for messages, Icould hear a radio or something like it in the background and heard heavy breathing and then they hung up. Something needs to be done about this. Thanks
