they called me on a sunday afternoon - not leaving a mesage

Unsolicited phone calls from this number. I finally picked up the receiver, but no one was there. I do not want their calls, but do not want to leave my email address as they request (voice recording when I called back) to be dropped from their list.

Same story as other writers here. Calls every night. I don't answer. I will try the do not call address mentioned here. We are already on the Federal DO NOT CALL list.

I get calls from this phone number early in the day around 11:30am, while I'm at work. My machine picks up, I've had people just ask for me, and I've had hang ups when the machine answers.I have donated to many non profits for years without such harrasment, it's a shame that has apparently changed.

I've received at least 5 calls past 3 weeks.Never picked up. I went to their website, but I don't want to write my email address to ask to opt out my phone number from their list.

Call Kenneth Whitaker, President of Public Interest Communications at 703-847-8300 extension 311. Ask him (his answering machine, actually, as no one at this company answers in person except the company operator) to remove your number (your name's not necessary) from their calling list. You'll get prompt service if you give Ken a frank exposition of what you think of his company and their services.

Thank you for the suggestion to call Whitiker and to make a harassing complaint to RCN my provider. Let's see if the twice daily calls stop. Been on the do not call registry for years yet annoyance calls increased once I switched to voice over Internet. My landline never had this issue - same number mind you.

They call several times per day. What gives?
