WHAT A RIDICULOUS STATEMENT

I have been recieving calls on my cell phone from McCarthy, Burgess and Wolf everyday. They were calling 2 or more times per day on my cell and home number and then it stopped for awhile. Now it is starting back. I do not have any outstanding debt. Is anything really being done to stopped them???

We keep getting calls about a debt that is not ours. I thought I straightened it out once but these calls persist.

I got a cal from them today, Jim Casey called. The message was pretty funny. He was trying to make his voice as deep as he could to sound intimidating. I won't be answering or calling him back.

they are calling everyday and waking me up; I'm disabled and it's very upsetting. They're calling about something concerning my husband when he worked for a company back in 1998-2003. He used his credit card and the company ALWAYS reimbursed him. Then the company went bankrupt in 2003 or 2004. The debt was never paid back to my husband yet it should have dropped off his credit report after 7 years. We're separated and they're bothering me daily. My husband was a maintenance engineer, not an owner or partner or anything! I'm not good at using computer but who do I report these scumbags too? I'm sick of being woken up for something I'm (we're) not responsible for! If I need to call FBI like I read from another person who posted a comment, I'll happily do so. I'm just not sure they're the correct agency. Who stops cruel, people like the man calling me, his name is BRADY WHITTEN at same number ext. 4729. I need someone to shut him up! Not sure he'll listen to me, wish I knew who has authority over these jerks. They're in Cleveland Ohio.

The person they asked for I've never heard of in my life. Silly debt collectors.

Got a call from this company saying that I owed the phone company money under a business name that I no longer had. Called the phone company and verified that NO money is owed. Scam or mistake? I don't really know, but the phone company advised me to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the FTC. This company is not even in the same state as I am!
