I want to stop harassing daily calls from this company. I do not want to pay them, this account I am going to make it "OLD", after more three years ,they couldn't charge me anything-anymore.After all they are just $ 9560 USD and I do not have a job now.I will cancel my cell phone the last day of the month even.

I keep getting calls from this firm that claims they are a law firm trying to collect on a debt. they sent me information regarding this debt sayin i started a business and i owe thier client. she staes her name is Darlene Rodriquez and works for McCarthy Burgess and Wolff.

Thanks for the info... these people keep calling and I knew that I had no 'legal matters' pending, so have not answered. I appreciate the above explanations of who they are and their tactics. I think they're actually calling me about a company I sold 6 years ago! Think I'll file an FCC complaint... does that work?

I too have been recieving around four calls a day from these people. I have yet to even answer the phone when they call. They not only use this number but will use a local number to call from making you think its someone else. They use many numbers that do ot use their name also. I was scammed by a company in NY that assigined me a resident provider required by the state to do business. I got all my money back from the NY company but they never told me that I would ever be billed by this resident provider. I kept getting a bill from this resident provider. I ignored it since my business never got off the ground. Needless to say they kept billing me and I told them they never did anything for me and I was not in business that I got all my money refund etc...They said oh yeah you did get refunded but you still owe us as you have an account with us. That was two years ago. The resident company is now billing me for two years one of which is for this year 2013. They stated they suspeneded my account with them which would make my business not in compliance with the state. I have already contacted the state to dissovle the company (which I also did not know I had to do). Regardless this so called collections agency will never get a cent from the business which never got started. I will be contacing the BBB, and the owner of the resident company with informing them of investigations by the FTC about major Federal and State law enforcements crackdown on scams . The FTC has the power granted by the Federal goverment to enter an estqblishment and shut it down if they have enough evidence to support fraudulent activity. Hope this information helps anyone who feels they have been scammed by any company.

Non-specific call requesting call back regarding 'a legal matter' with no mention of the call being an attempt to recover debt.

Had loads of problems with Wolfe Commercial Recovery and still do! The fact that they were sold a debt by Townpages that was not honored in the first place by Townpages is for them to sort out.. NOT ME!! The various articles available on the net support their imcompetence to provide adequate service and their bully boy tactics! Keep threatening me and mine and I'll take that money and pay some really unsavoury characters I know to rock down to their office to kick F***k out of them.. Or even better stun gun them, Throw them in the boot of the car and take them out into the woods to have a train run through them! Deal with townpages you imbeciles for selling you unsupported debts and while your at it go F***k yourselves!! Word!

These people rip off anyone who falls for their lies, even their clients. How? Clients and those they collect from pay, they keep all the money from all then claim, they got no we did money. Professional scam artist. Report them to Attorney General, Local, County & State Agencies. Say nothing, they win only because you are silent.
