Faulty billing department at Verizon results in getting calls from "McCarthy Burgess & Wolff".Good advice about following up with their attorney, and will be including Verizon. Until Verizon has a monopoly I will refuse their services and actively discourage people fromUsing their phone, internet and cable services.

Recently my employees took calls from MB&W about an outstanding bill. They did get me yesterday though about a $79.00 bill from AT&T after looking over my payment history luck has it that my last check to AT&T was "ACCOUNT PAID IN FULL" by memo area and yes cleared by my bank. Hopefully this will keep them at bay for ever.

When I looked this company up under bbb they had a rating of A+. Where did you get your information from? I can see you copied and pasted everything except the rating.

I am a former employee of MB&W.They BUY the debt. 90% of the time, they get stuck with it and can't recover anything.They will NOT sue unless the amount is extremely high, 25k and up.The average person has nothing to fear from them if you do not want to pay. But they will call and call.Their tactics are Lie Lie Lie. That is why I left.PS: They are actually a very small company that makes themselves look big.

The debtors of the world think they are so smart because they have google! If you read the laws you would realize that Commercial collections do not have to follow FDCPA and there is no need for disclosing that the call is to collect a debt. And you people have the nerve to call the collectors the low loifes? Your the ones who do not pay your bills. Jesus has no sympathy for people that do not pay their bills so I hop you all burn in hell

If these people don't quit calling you can report them but rarely does that help...Try a couple other things in the mean time. You can chose an option on your phone if you have one to change the ringer to "no ringer" or record your own ringer and make it nothing for 5 seconds for that #. That way you don'y hear any call to pick up. Or if you have a "block call" feature on your line, use that. Not much else you can do. Most of these telemarketing companies can care less about the law.

These people are calling daily stating I owes some payday lender and I know I don't What a scam so please stop calling me.
