Stop it yourself-there's a nifty gadget called a 'call blocker', also the DNC is not a call blocker
Woman called me today. Got a second call 3 hours later and they hung up. I called them back quickly to complain that they dialed the wrong number. Their manager requested my name and I didn't give it to them. Told them to not call me.
Received a call from this number, it was Macy's calling to offer assistance for my recent wedding registry. Nothing bad, just don't like answering unknown numbers. People... Chill out... Jesus....
Haven't you ever heard of credit card fraud? They could be calling you because you there is someone using your info and they are trying to verify purchases before they are made and then effect your credit score. You complain now but don't complain when they don't call you to verify, before somebody jacks your credit up. And as far as receiving calls for next of Kin you should have stopped and asked before jumping to conclusions. Macys credit is known for sending out over payments on accounts that have been sitting around for awhile especially to the next of Kin I guess they could just keep the money. Its funny that you morons have the time to find a web site to rant a rave for no apparent reason just to be able to read your post later, but I guess I'm a moron because I found the post and then took the time out of my day to respond...
I'm sorry that some people have had a bad experience with this telephone number,HOWEVER, It is valid for many other purposes................My father was a retired employee of Macy's and passed away recentlyThis telephone # is also for Human Resource Department, the staff at Macy's could not have been more compassionate or helpful in helping me with all the paperwork. I for one am thankful for Macy's HR department they are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just got a call from them too! and i called back to see who it was and they said this is maceys how can help you? but i dont shop at maceys nor have i ever had a maceys account. i asked them how they got my number but of course the woman on the line didnt know and just kept apologiznig for the mysterios call. well heres what i think is going on: the maceys headquarters in ohio is a secret goverment coverup for the illuminati and extra terrestrial involvement in the military persuits of the white house. they got our cell phone numbers from that law that bush passed a while back that allows the govenment to listne in on our calls. well they have been. and in doing so they have gathered the cell phone numbers of those people whom they deem suspicious. then these people (me, sam, shorty, and kelly) get a call, or eight calls, from "maceys" and they dont leave a message but wait to see if we call back. the ones that eventually do call "maceys" back are then put on another list, the suspicious and paranoid list. and then they wait for the right moment, when someone is needed to take the blame from a namesless crime. and we get another call. but not from "maceys" this time. im sure of it. so watch out. goverment abduction can happen anywhere and at anytime! beware the illuminati!
i too received a call from this number with the VM identifying himself as from Macy's Credit asking after someone who i never heard of.
Rec'd call from (513)398-5221 on my cell phone, not requested. I do not have a Macy's account
I received a call from an unknown number, so I ran a quick google search and found this page. They didn’t leave a number, but immediately called back, so I answered. A couple weeks ago, I called Macy’s regarding a coat I purchased that fell apart within the first month. Unfortunately, they didn’t sell the item anymore. The deal I got was so good, I didn’t expect them to have anymore, but I was hoping they may be able to fix the item free of charge. Anyhow...this call comes about 2 weeks later, and the guy identifies himself as an “auditor” at Macy’s. He was auditing calls of a new associate and came across my call and wanted to make it right. He claims to have given me a credit for the shipping I paid, plus another 30% of the coat’s purchase price. After reading this e-mail, I was fully expecting him to ask for the credit card number to process the credit, but he didn’t. He said he processed the credit and I should see it soon. I will monitor my credit card activity just to be sure, but so far this was a VERY positive call for me. I will update if something goes wrong.
