The caller never leaves a message and I do not answer calls I don't recognize. This caller has already called me like 5 times today and it isquite annoying!
this is macy's collection. we forgot/misplaced out macy's bill....they will keep calling you until they speak to a live person....then when they get a date for when you are going to make payment, then the calls cease...of course, until you miss paymnet again. [***]
This number has not been blocked yet.Received seven calls today, three of which occurred during my school periods. (lucky I put my phone on vibrate.)Number has now been disabled from my phone, I have set it to automatically ignore all the calls I receive from them.On a side note.I'm a 13-year old kid.I don't have a Macy's credit card.Pretty bs, imo.
I've realised I'm getting calls at different times from 513-754-9822. SOMETIMES BACK TO BACK!Besides not answering the phone, what is the number for reporting harrasing phone calls to the phone company? I think it's *52. But I want to be sure before I try it. That's for the help!
They (the 513 #)are in India -- a contracted/outsourced service, routed through Ohio. When I called Macy's corporate, they routed me to their number, so it IS Macy's collection arm. The only thing is: I don't have a Macy's card. They call at LEAST 20 times a day, starting from 7 am on. This started 2 weeks ago and hasn't ceased. Until I finally got through to corporate to confirm their legitimacy, I didn't want to give them my number to take off the list, in case they were scam artists. Now, I'm pulling the FTC into it for harassment and collection violations. This is out of hand!
Macy's won't take accountability for their 3rd party contractors. They would not handle their mistake from corporate. Kept patching me to India. Poor service on their end. I've never had a Macy's or Bloomingdale's card. Never. I called the 513 number, spoke with a man named Melvin Young and asked to be taken off the list. He checked and I wasn't on the list of accounts due. Go figure. Asked him to repeat my number back to me and take it off the list. Am hopeful he will. Melvin, make me proud, brother. Or I'm coming to India and calling your house 20 times a day and waking you up at 7am on a Saturday, all whilst performing sitting dharma.
