We are a small manufacturing company. Our President received a voicemail from a "Bill Mott" saying that he was the Senior Buyer from "As Seen On TV" productions and interested in purchasing a large quantity of our products. Naturally, our President passed the message to our Sales group. Although we weren't interested and something sounded strange about "As Seen On TV" calling us with a purchase interest, I returned the call to see what they would possibly want to purchase from us. Bill Mott called me back and I've never spoken with someone as UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE in all of my career. When I inquired as to why he was calling, he said that he did not wish to speak with me, but our President. He stated that if our President couldn't take the time to call him back, then they would just purchase a competing product. When I tried to probe further with more questions, he became aggressive in his tone, stated something about our unwillingness to be compliant in the call, and hung up on me. I decided to look up the name and number and found this page -so glad that I did!

Bill Mott....is a scam. He left me a number to call him back at....561-241-6252.

June 2017:Appears authorities continue to do nothing regarding ASONTV with Kevin Harrington. Dave Allen was our contact out of Tampa, FL (813) 414-5439 soliciting $19,200 in scheduling fees for video production. Still operating Summer of 2017. Buyer beware., his personal assistant was Lauren Rose (rose.lauren@drtv.pro) and we were requested to send product sample to Heather Rose (heather.davis@drtv.pro) 6250 Coral Ridge Drive Suite 200 Coral Springs, FL 33076

Too many companies ignorant of marketing and advertising opportunities. Remember every way you promote your new great product has a cost no matter what it is.

I like these forums. Now retired from the Advertising Industry, i have heard these kind of comments and i cant believe how companies these days have no idea how to market their products, and are offended when they are asked to spend money on marketing, very strange

There are multiple entities that call themselves "As Seen on TV " with a slight variation such as productions or pro etc. I have seen more than one of these companies referenced here. I have spoken with Bill Mott, I have spoken with Lou Schwartz, and I have spoken with Michael Granger. All of these men have been referenced here as the "Bad Guys" and scam artists. The truth is, their business is legit, they are just slow and unresponsive at times. I have spent the $14K, I have shipped them their initial $3K in sample product, I have been trough website approvals, script approvals, have had the video shot & edited, and I now am awaiting air time that is set for late Aug/early Sept. I know $14K is a lot of money but how else are you going to market your product? And how does your economical marketing compare to 150+ television commercials? The comments here caused me to briefly panic until I called and talked to both Schwartz and Granger again today. So if it is a scam, why would they answer their phone months after collecting my money?

Got called last summer (2014) by William Mott. Searched him, their company and the phone number and got nothing. Business partner was too excited about "the opportunity" and we got taken for $14,700. Crappy video, late production, filmed the product upside down, pronunciation problems in the voice over. All in all DO NOT WORK with them! SCAM!!!Just got a call today from Mindy Markayzee (spelled as it was pronounced). She didn't even know what products we had when she called and tried to get us under contract again with ASOTVP. I ripped into her about what happened the first time and how we had no proof that our commercial aired, didn't get it finished on time, spent quite a bit getting new examples to them, etc. etc. and she said she would inform her boss. Whatever. Then I asked her to spell her last name and she said C O H E N. I called her out on the name difference and she said,"Whatever, same thing."Stay away, far far away from this company. You will regret it.

I received a call (561) 206-6656 from Mindy Marchese yesterday "As Seen On TV Productions". She had no clue who she was calling. Refused to send me info on who "As Seen On TV Productions" was until I told her I was going to hang up the phone. Mindy (if that was her real name) very pushy looking for me to tell her what the top items were in my company. I received the Vendor Package (LOL) and called her back to let her know that "As Seen On TV Productions" was all over the web in not a good way. Mindy said that the post were from get this "disgruntled employees". Scam!!!!!!
