I don't know anything about any links between any firms or companies, but I have had a loan modification done through Housing Assistance Law Center. I personally felt skeptical about sending $2900 to someone I've never met so I drove down about 3 hours from Orlando to see their office. I sat down with somone for about an hour going over documents and loan scenarios and finally signed the disclosures in the end. They are really nice people, I met the owner, and even sat through one phone call between them and the bank Wells Fargo. They even showed me results from successful modifications.All of the negative comments on here are from people who haven't hired them and have no experience dealing with them. Don't be so quick to judge, go down and meet the person on the other end of the line. You'll be surprised.

Very Good research!!!!!!!!!! Lawyers are not allowed to cold call or have someone do it for them. Remember the saying "let the buyer beware". Homeowners should talk to lawyers they seek who will tell them the truth.
