I'm not sure how legitimate this Housing Asstistance Law Firm and I have only spoken to them. I have sincere doubts how this program works, or if it works at all. However, I have conntacted a company called NACA (Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America). It's essentially free. We had to pay a $30.00 fee, thats all. They are advocates for homebuyers who are under foreclosure or who have high mortgages due to predatory lending. If I were you, I'd give them a call. Right now they have contacted our lender and advocating for us a restructure. Our mortgage payments would be cut almost in half. Check into them, there website is NACA.com. I also have a newpaper clipping from our local paper showing how they have helped thousands of people. God Bless

No files or documents from active clients were shredded or thrown out. They were moved to a different office earlier that morning to be completed. The only documents and files that were shredded were prospective applicants that never paid. Someone will get in contact with you this week. We're just going to have to wait until August/Sept. when they captured the first of their prey. Think about it. Multiply $2500 times 3000 people. Times 5000. i have looked into NACA and was also told they could help me. unfortunately after two months worth of waiting and paperwork they were unsuccessful. Housing Assistance law center got me out of my adjustable rate and into a 3.1% fixed rate bringing my monthly payments down from $2,139.23 to $891.77 for the life of my loan and got me a reduction in my principal balance of $63,000. Housing Assistance was a Godsend and a financial blessing for my family.
