I received a call today. She wanted to do survey for Bank of America. She wanted to know which branch I do business. When I told her the branch name and location. she did know where it is, then I got suspicious and hung up.

They have never called me about service or repair and I have had a number of very expensive ones. Stupid Prius.

I have been called 2 times, one each evening about 7pm. I haven't answered because I was on the line one time. The other time my phone was on Silent and the call came thru anyway with a different ring than is normal. What is this?

Found this number had called my office phone at 8pm in the previous evening. Left a blank voice mail.

My wife received a call today, the "GIRL" asked for me by my name, from this company. They said that they were a MARRIAGE RESEARCH COMPANY and that a financial company told them to call me. I asked them what Financial company asked them to call me and they would not say. I told them that I was on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" and that they were not to be calling me at my number. This "GIRL" told me that they did not have to follow the NO CALL POLICY as they were a research/survey company. Thus I asked the "GIRL" what number she was calling me from and she stated that she did not know because this was an out call to me. I told her that she was illiterate if she did not know the number she was calling from and she just laughed at me just as she was laughing thru most of the phone call. I told her that I would track her down and that she would be sorry, again she just laughed at me. I did track her down: Maritz Research, Arlington County Virginia, 1-571-431-1960. This was just nothing more than a "FINANCIAL PHISHING" phone call and they need to stopped at once and for good. I have also called their 1-800-864-8601 Automated call center number to get off there call list.

The number is traceable to Maritz Research, supposedly headquartered at 1375 or 1395 or 1400 N. Highway Dr., in Fenton, MO 63099. Main numbers there are (636) 827-4000 or toll free (877) 462-7489. The (571) 431-1960 number is an unlisted landline in Arlington, VA. They are a big pain and very unprofessional with persistent calls.weekdays and weekends. If they are legitimate and actually hired by a business to take a survey on customer satisfaction, and if no answer when they call, then the least they can do is join the human race and leave a message saying "This is Maritz Research, PLEASE call us back for an important survey, as your views are needed, and we are not selling anything." A pox on them.Suffice to say, in my household, no one answers calls that are unfamiliar names or numbers, or when the Caller Id shows no name, or Blocked, Unavailable, Out of State, etc.

just got a call from this company--they called every day and i finally picked up! the woman was highly insensed that i would not give her any information re my banking account. scammed once never again.

Don't know who or what company, didn't answer, but don't appreciate people fishing for information. I will block this number.

If they are calling from Canada then why is the number for washington D.C.?

There was a call from this number on my phone this evening...no message left. I will answer next time and try to learn more.
