The caller said she was May with UBS and had a check for someone not in our office. Gave me an address, which doesn't exist in our city or surrounding area. I would be suprised if this is a legitimate company. They certainly didn't say they were with LaSalle Bank.
If this is a legimate business, then why do they say our mortgage has been sold? The first woman called on 4/16/09 wanting our payment that was due on 4/1/09. That payment was made before 4/1 and cleared our bank on 4/6. She said, after much searching, that the mortgage had been sold on 4/14/09. If that was true, why was she asking for our 4/1 payment? Another lady called on 4/18/09 and my husband and myself called with her and her supervisor, George. He said that the call was a mistake and he would handle everything. Then on Tuesday, 4/21 another woman calls. This time, after finding out why she was calling, I told her that the payment for April had been made and cleared the bank and to please not call again concerning the April payment. Then I hung up. I don't think this is a legimate business. If they were, they would know our payment had been made.If anyone gets a call from this number, I would advise not to give them any information. It might cause you trouble.
Just got a call from this number (609 718 2432)on my home and cell phone I readed some of the comments regarding this number. I do have mortage with New South Federal but if they need to contact me they need to do it in writing or by email.
Call was from a representative for a mortgage from BECU.I had called about converting/refinancing a loan and they were returning my inquiry. This number is legitimate.
I got a call from this number and it is actually a company called 'Lend America' they are a mortgage company. It is a recorded message and it gives you a number to call. So this call is either if you have a mortgage with Lend America or for marketing purposes.You can call them at 888-821-6451 since that's the number they left for me to call them back. Hope that helps anyone out there getting calls from this number.
"Sun Lar" called and said that they were sending a welcome package and that we were back a payment. Currant loan company doe auto debit. It wasn't done. Call the bank at home and found out that Bank of America will be serviceing the loan.
