I get these calls almost daily from several different numbers and the only common thing is that they all seem to have the same sales pitch and are usually from "Ann" or ""Rachael" from "credit services". I think that the way to stop them would be for the government to charge a fee for any number not held for say 90 days, then they would not be able to change numbers so often. As I see it, the phone companies have too many numbers, are more than happy to charge an activation fee and rent the number for a few months and then let them change and get new fees. Now I see that they want to sell us a service that lets us block the number that is trying to call us? I see not incentive for the phone company to want to do anything as they are making money no matter what. Lets start charging them for all of these numbers that get flipped so often and maybe it will become too expensive to continue?

Telemarketer scum. The people that work for them should be put in jail.

I keep getting calls and I say "hello" and they hang up. I have filled out multiple FTC complaints still mad that people can get away with this.

Same old credit card call about lowering interest rates. Got this one on my cell phone. Also get them on my home phone. Being on the do not call list does not help. If you try to talk with them they hang up on you. Very rude and unprofessional. Wish there was a way to stop these calls

These people have been calling me for over a month. They claim they're trying to reduce my debt and lower my interest. I have tried talking direct with them and they hang up. They sometimes call as much as 6 times during the day or evening.

I have been getting calls from 617-390-4562 about reducing my credit card rate to 6.9%, limited time offer, etc. for over a month. I have pressed 1 on at least 5 occasions and asked to be taken off the contact list. I just received another call and asked to speak with a supervisor, the associate said "No." and hung up.

Could you elaborate on that a bit more? Are you saying to answer the call and press 5?

Reporting DNC List violaors will do no good. They use VOI (voice over internet) and many, many different phone number. HERE IS THE SOLUTION. Every time they call, answer the call. DO NOT hit 3. That only guarantees more calls because they know they have an active number. Hit 1 and when you are sure a person is there blast their ear with an air horn. One or two long blasts with the horn right next to the microphone. I bought several small air horns for $1 each at Dollar Generalm- they last for 5 or 6 phone calls. We have lowered our number of DNC List violators from an average of 3 per day to maybe 1 per month. It may take several times for each violator, so don't give up if you get another call from them, just do the air horn routine. Their operators will finally get the word to the "head crooks" and the calls will stop, at least for a few months.

I am tired of being harrassed by these annoying calls. They were never given permission to call my cell number. These people should be stopped from doing this!!

I keep getting these phone calls on my cell phone, as soon as I hit 1 to talk to a person and they come one, I let them know that I am on the do not call list and they imediately hang up. All my phones are also registered but they still come through. I am tired of them using my minutes.
