I've tried everything to get these people to stop calling me. I don't have any credit card debt and don't need lower interest rates. They stand nothing to gain from me, but they still keep calling. There must not be any way for them to remove a number from their database. I suggest making a personal appeal to the representative on the other end - letting them know that the company they work for is engaging in illegal business practices, and is under investigation by the FTC, and they should quit and let their fellow employees know about it as well. Maybe if the scammers run out of representatives the calls will slow down for a while.

we may not be able to do any thing about out of country origin, but once the call enters the u.s. it transfers to " in country " carriers., who should be liable for allowing the call to go forward.....especially knowing it is a telemarketer !

Unwanted call even though my cell phone is registered on the do not call list.

I keep getting these calls. Sometimes someone will answer me, but most of the time there is silence and then the dial tone. I believe this call to be a scam of some sort.

Air Horn blast in the ear. Buy them for $1 at Dollar Tree. Press I, wait for the idiot to answer, hold the horn right up to the phone and do 2 long blasts. A few times of air horn blasts in the ear and they magically get the message. You have to do it to several operators for them to get the word around. We have gotten it down from an average of 3 per day to about 1 per monthtry it and if it works for you, pass it on. Big govt will not fix this problem. They got debt, medicare fraud, and political campaigns to handle.

Stop the calls!

Yep same call / number just now, this stuff drives me nuts. All my #'s are on do not call list. They are clever, when I call back a missed call, the # is disconected.

I got two calls in a matter of 23 minutes and they didn't leave a message. I called back and got the message that the voice mail was full for Mike Jones. I sent a text message to the number saying that I have been recently release from federal lock up, and could not get a secure credit card so, How can you help me? Waiting for the call back

These people keep calling me with different numbers I just want to be left alone,they are as bad as mosquitos in the summer time.
