This Company that is making these calls I was told is in Orlando, FL. I have filed complaints with the FCC and thay unless they get numerous complaints they do not follow through. My question is what is numerous complaints. Thanks Washington. Below is a list of numbers that has the same message:617-390-4562802-230-6357515-421-5843In the past two days these number have called a total of nine times to my cell phone which is on the The Do Not Call list.If you press one and ask why they continue to call the response is you should have pressed two and they hang up. I have pressed two numerous times. If you try to block the number they use an alternate number. Think I will visit Florida.
I have received more since my last posting which was about 10 minutes ago. I have more numbers they are using:617-390-4562802-230-6357515-421-5843303-249-9700513-417-0498Block one and they use another number. The FCC does such wonderful work on these calls. Just being sarcastic with the FCC remark. But have to be careful running a Goverment Agency down they may send the Secret Service to investigate me.
THIS IS A REPOST SO THE MESSAGE DOESN'T GET LOST!!!The only way people can make a difference is if they band together. When the Card Services people call and you answer, you usually hit 1 to tell them you do not want to be on their list. If you just say, "take me off their list", you'll get hung up on before you can even finish. So, the key here is to say "Yes", then go into your tirade. Mine goes like this:Caller: "Would you like to lower your interest rates ...?Me: "Yes, last night I F*cked your mother in the *ss and noticed you weren't there to watch."Usually they are caught off guard and then hang up. Sometimes they get really upset and say F*ck U.Then you keep hitting them back with other stuff like how their mother really seemed to enjoy the *ss pounding you gave her. The key here is the use fire to fight fire. You turn the tables and get them upset like a bill collector would do to you. My one lit match probably doesn't put a huge dent in their operation but imagine if everyone did it to them. Again, talking about past tense things that you did with their moms and not things you wish to do to them because you don't want to fall into the harrasment trap or the threat trap.Good hunting people!
They have my cell phone number which I never give out. They call constantly. I have AT&T for my carrier. I am Chaplain in a rather large Hospital and the operators use my cell phone for contacting. I have been with patients and they call. I have tried on just vibrate but it is still distracting.
Does anyone here have a One Main Financial, or Citi Financial account? I have reason to believe that they may have leaked their contact list, or have shared info.
Blocking these calls now thru Optonline.net. Keep getting from this cell number, and as soon as I block it, they will move on to another cell number. In reading these threads, there is a lot of passion out there about scamming. Not that I desire more regulation, but we should be able to do something about unwanted, unsolicited scam artists ripping us off (or attempting to rip us off.) I have just picked up the pieces of my mother's scam- she did fall victim to these a##holes and lost over $50,000. Yes, that's right, $50,000 in a PHONE scam. And no, she wasn't lonely, only gullible, and desired to "Help" other people. I can't even get the FBI to return my phone call, and the AG of her state knows all about these scam artists. The only way we will see any change is to have a congressional hearing! Any of you out there actually lose money???
