Yup, hope0707 at 08000 twice, just a few minutes ago (May 21). Seems like a spammer for the website friendjungle, or a scam. I'm with FIDO, so I'm guessing from these messages that Fido and Telus phone lists have been hacked or otherwise compromised.
Got the same message from some psychocutieI'm with tellus to, and when I called to ask what this was about they said they couldn't do anything. This is wierd

Hi all, tonight 7/27/2008 at about 9:10 I recieved 2 text messages from '5000' saying, "bmsax2/ Hey, I got your number from a friend of mine, but I bet you cant guess who i am! My username is bmsax2, if you....wanna come see if you recognize me online at bmsax2.marchpit.com. Well hope to see you soon!". I googled 'bmsax2.marchpit.com' and first i found some blogs with his username on Xanga site, he had left the same message for a bunch of people with a different link in each but they all bring you to www.friendjungle.com, His profile on Xanga has been shut down.Then I was brought here, and after reading most of your comments I notice alot of you takling about Telus,I don't know what Telus is but I have T-mobile phone service. I don't get it what is the point of sending out this message is it just to be annoying or Is it supposed to be some kind of advertsing? Are they making money doing this? Does/Can it cause problems with your phone or computer?

I just got a text from lonewolf... what the hell is going on? I tried texting "STOP", but it wouldn't even send. I'm pretty careful with my number, and am with Telus.
i also have tmobile and i got the same text saying that they got my number from a friend...the "person" was bluedragon316 this is bull &^$@# I hate stupid ppl who do that crap if yall see this message cut the &^*)(^$ stuff out ok...
