I got a text last night (may 25) from lonwolf624 .datehop.org...saying he got my number from a friend and is shy and he heard I was amusing...at first I was mad a whoever would give out my number, but I could not think of who I know would do this. So I thought I would ask this stranger where he got my number from and now I find out this is a scam. Wow, this is bad marketing. I am with telus for about 10 years and this has never happened before.
I got a strange text from someone who said they got my number from a friend and to find out who it was i was supposed to go to hope0707.datepit.net I cannot find the site or the person and I dont like this one bit? What the F...? and who the f...? is this? Anyone know who this person is?
I also received a 2-page text message on my T-Mobile phone from 5000 that says, "musicislife111/Hey, I got your number from a friend of mine, but I bet you can't guess who I am! My username's musiislife111. If you wanna come see if you recognize me online, at musicislife111.date-only.com Well, hope to see you soon!"This website takes you directly to www.friendjungle.com - a page where you must enter personal information in order to continue.What is so annoying about this is that I've signed up on the No-Call list and then receive this type of call. And yes, you end up paying for these unsolicited calls!!!
