Did you ever get computer running again. Same calls even to my cell. I usually keep them on the line then tell them to *&%& off and go back to the country they came from. Then they call me names in broken English..... see the number 6 1 2 3 4 5 6.....
So check out the number of posts it goes back over a year they just don't give up---I just got a brand new computer so it is not very likely that it is throwing off errors
I received a call on my landline from this number this morning. I stopped answering calls from numbers I don't recognize so I don't know who or what was on the other end.
I just got that call from an Indian man with a thick accent. I told him that I don't have Windows and he was a fraud and a few other obscenities. Then I hung up.

Got a call today from them. I knew it was a scam right off. Told them I worked for the Queen of England and they called Buckingbam Palace. Haha. They hung up.
I received a similar phone call - Asian sounding woman who knew my name. There was silence after that and then I hung up.THe caller ID said "wireless Caller" - I will block this number. Thank you all for your support and information - very helpful.
Tonight a man with a thick Hispanic accent called to let me know that my Windows computer is not running properly and may have been infected with a virus that is causing my emails to be rejected at their Microsoft serve. I played unbelievably done with my phone on speakerphone so my wife and I could be entertained. He told me to press the windows key in the lower left corner of the keyboard + R. Then he wanted me to type in msconfig. I told him I was doing it. He asked me what I could see on my screen. I told him it says, "Series Event: Texas Rising Continues Tomorrow" (because my wife and I were watching that on the History Channel. He tried to walk me through it again, but I finally grew tired of it. I finally said, "Hey, Man... this isn't working because I don't have any 'Windows Key' on my Mac." He registered great surprise. Then he asked me why I was doing this. I told him, "Hey, man, if you're going to try to scam me, the very least I can do is waste five minutes of your time." He laughed under his breath (but I don't think he knew I could hear him laugh). Then he said he would switch me to the Mac department... Now THAT takes some gigantic balls! So I said, "Just a moment... can you hang on, please?" He still thought I was the "idiot" I was playing earlier, so he waited. Then I played an old sound clip from the phone company that I have on iTunes and which I play for the Credit Card Scammers. It's a female voice saying, very pleasantly, "I'm sorry... this program is not available, and we are no longer accepting calls. Thank you for calling." Then... I hung up. We were highly entertained.
Thank you for following up with reports. If enough people would take the time to do this, we can put these scammers in the jail. As soon as I finish typing this, I will be filing my reports. This number has already called twice today (at 11:13 a.m. and 12:14 p.m. Thank goodness for my caller ID. If I don't know the telephone number, I do not answer. If it's legitimate they'll leave a voice mail (none of the robots these scammers have do of course).
