They say the are from Microsoft, heard about these calls awhile back, so I knew what they wanted. They'll tell you something is wrong with your computer, if you give them any info,their in your computer looking for personal info,bank account numbers & anything they can scam you for!! Was kinda weird yesterday getting this call, then on our local evening news they were telling about this scam going around. Happy I already had heard of this & knew not to give info out!! Hope this helps people before they give out the information these scammers want

This is not the first time I have gotten a call. Jerks.......they need to get caught and made to pay so much to each number they have called with this scam.

i received a call from 646-612-3456 when i answer a woman said (goodbye).

I received a call tonight from this number. It was a lady's vice telling me that she was from Microsoft and that my IP address had been hacked and that she could fix it. I did not carry on the call more than 30 seconds. When I checked my computer I found that it was infected with Ransom Foo Trojan Virus that had been detected and secured by antivirus software. Do not answer this call, they are hacking and looking for others to hold you ransom.

Just received a call from this number. I said Hello twice then heard a faint voice say "goodbye" and it hung up.

Call was from Microsoft NOT Microwave! ! Dumb spell check!!

these crooks are still callingI think I'll take an old computer and let them remote in, have a fresh copy of windows and a bunch of programs to make it look legit , run a trojan file that'll erase their hard drive while they try and scam me

I just got a call this morning at 8am from 646-612-3456, but didn't answer it once I saw the CID with a number I didn't know. Area code 646 is in Manhattan, NY, but I don't know anyone from that region or with a number that begins with it. Good thing I looked it up here. Even if I had answered it, and gotten some BS about a virus on my PC computer, I would have known immediately it was a scam. I don't own a PC and there's no possible way anyone would know I had a virus on my computer, unless they put it there.Don't fall for these BS tactics. They just want to take over your computer and steal your ID and everything else. Too many people are too gullible.
