calls and calls and calls!!! and with no message. it's automated, so I think that by the time the answering machine picks up, the recorded voice is done speaking. okay, I did go to the website www.franklinservice.com and dialed the 800 number at the bottom of the page: 800-262-7590. I was able to speak to a real person within one minute. they confirmed my telephone number and said he had removed it from their system. He said I cannot be placed on a "do not call" list since they are not a solicitor, but he would remove it from their system.it is indeed a collection agency, and I think they just plug your phone number into their computer to automatically call anyone with the same last name in a city when trying to collect on a bad debt.I hope this helps someone else in getting their number removed from their system!

Yes, I had the same message to return their call. I did return their call and gave the girl my number - she put it into her system and pulled up some guys name. She was very nice and told me she would have our number removed from their list. Our number is 6 months new - so we get a lot of people calling for different people all of the time. It gets really old....I one time I unplugged my own home phone to keep from getting these calls.I used my cell phone instead. I'm really thinking about turing my home phone off.

The caller stated that they were calling for someone that didnt reside at the present address. This number called once before and just had a recorded message for someone that didnt live here.

Franklin Collection Services has been calling my 10 YEAR OLD SON'S CELL NUMBER and harassing him thinking he is a debtor owing money to one of their clients. I have reported them to the proper authorities and am proceeding with legal action for harassment of a minor. These people really should get a Life. Or maybe a BRAIN.
