Received three strange messages on my cell phone. "If you are not M. Monroe hang up immediately. My name is not even near this. I called and a man answered Hello Ms. Monroe. I yelled at him, no stop calling my cell phone and who are you. He just said we will remove your number and hung up.
I've received repeated calls from this number, but no messages. When I called back, an automatic answering machine picks up but does not identify the company. It seems like a fraud.
these people call my house at least 6 times a day once my husband called them back. but the line had been disconnected. so we never try and call them back. wished they would actually talk to some one so we could tell them not to call back and set them straight about who they may be calling...if its that important for them to talk to you why dont they talk instead of having you to call them ...just makes no sense to me... these people need to be stopped..

If you are having problems with these guys you need to go to the Federal Trade Commission's website (ftc.gov) and file a complaint there. It soundes like they are in violation of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act which can be found at: ftc.gov. If you talk to these people again make sure you get their name, name of their company and date and time of call. Then tell them that you are going to file a complaint with the FTC if they don't back off.
THe number is from FRANKLIN COLLECTION AGENCY in Tupelo Mississippi. Their Toll free number is 1-800-262-7590 For each time they call me I call 3 times back on their toll free number and tell them to stand by for an important message.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
