called asking for my son

Called with the "breast cancer medicine" spiel. Hung up after I repeated their number back and said I was reading off the Google results "junk call, scam, scam, junk call, scam...".

No message calls all the time

Keeps calling, leaves no message. Added to automatic caller reject list.

They called me asking for donations to some disabled vets of America organization. It sounded like a real person, but was evident it was not when they could not correctly process my answers. They asked if they could mail me a packet and I said yes. Then said they were running a promotion red, white, and blue, and for a red packet you could donate $X and for white it was some other amount and for blue it was only $20. I said, sure. They asked which packet. I said blue. They said, OK, can we 100% count on your support and you will send us the $20 once you receive your packet. I began to explain that I always do research on any charitable organization before giving and that I would be happy to look into it and support the vets if I determined it was a reputable organization that would provide me with a tax deduction and I believed they were a good organization that helped people in a way that I deemed a wise investment for my money. The robot then started saying something about well we're sorry you feel that way. How about we send you our $15 packet, which is our absolute lowest. I began explaining that I did not need a different packet based on some dollar amount they wanted me to commit to. I said that I would be more than happy to make a larger contribution upon determining that this was an organization I was willing to support. I am not going to commit to something without researching first. They said we're sorry and we will try contacting you again during our tax refund promotion or something to that effect.

They don't leave a message and I'm registered on do not call list yet they are keep calling.

no message, didn't answer -blocking . The local news in Milwaukee said a scam is coming back saying your loved one had a car accident, gets all sorts of information then calls another family member saying they are in jail. They want gift cards as payment for legal services. Too bad all the family has more than 1 phone and called the "person in jail" guess what - lies... kid was just fine. Burn in hades --scam scum

Don't do that carelessly. Many of these marketers use spoofed numbers. You may cause problems for someone who has nothing to do with this

Just got a call on my cellphone from this number. No message left.

My golden rule is I never never answer a phone number I don't know.My feeling is if they don't leave a message then I block their number.Life is too short to stress out about scammers cause there will always be scammers.
