This number is calling from the Navy Federal Credit Union Collections Department. Called and verified with NFCU and the guy on the other end was calling to find out when I would be making a deposit to cover my negative balance. :)

Call from NFCU local branch verifying a check that I had written earlier in the day to my house painter.
No it is not legitimate. I contacted NFCU and they confirmed it as a suspicious number and this was a phishing attempt.
No it is not legitimate. I received a call from this number. When I answered they hung up. i then performed a reverse phone lookup. It came up as a Fairfax Virginia land line. It did not come up as a NFCU number. I then called the toll free NFCU #. They knew this number and have it listed as a suspicious number. This number is not NFCU.
Just got a call from this number. It is a valid call from Navy Federal Credit Union. I have a fraud claim in. You need to use their toll free number to call back on as this will say an NFCU invalid number when you call back. For those claiming they don't live in VA. NFCU is worldwide and they have live customer support 24/7 to support military stationed around the world.
I received a call from this number this afternoon. They did not leave a message. I tried to call the number back and heard a recording say that I had reached a non-working number at Navy Federal Credit Union.
ive gotten a couple of calls from this number, he leaves a very quiet message to call NFCU, but when i call back, they have no record of the call or reason for the call. i am a member of NFCU, but i believe this is a pfishing scheme. if NFCU is calling, they will leave an extension# which this caller never does
Identified at Navy Federal Credit Union. Asking for information about home sale, purchase, and insurance coverage by USAA. Don't believe the call was actually from Navy Federal Credit Union.
