My phone blocks all robocalls, so it only rings once. Some nerve, calling on a Saturday night. Don't want these calls and want them to stop immediately.
Most of these calls are coming from third world countries, even though they are showing up as originating in the US. Unfortunately, the Do Not Call system has no control over these calls. The calls are the result of a system using something called spoofing. We regularly receive calls from our own telephone number. Ain't technology great!!!
i got the call, mind u i am in my 50s but i was expecting a friends call so i answered the phone "City Morgue, we deliver" like i was in 3rd grade...lol...nothing was said he/she just hung up...Im hoping they think i am a real morgue and takes me off list.I think its screwed up how you cant call back the number, for it says its disconnected...They have apps on cell phones that can let you choose any # you want to show on caller id, theyre probably using that app.
These same idiots continue to call and state they are from different places, we all know they are nothing but some dumb [***] scammers trying to get personal info. i think it is pitiful that when you apply for a job, that these damn idiots can gain access to your information. why do you have to fill out a complete job application then agree to have some colleges call you, for what? you arent applying for a job at a college..its crazy almost scary to even apply online foe a job. what is this world coming to
I NEVER NEVER answer phone calls on my cell phone from numbers I do not know or have in my contacts. If it is a real call or important a legitimate caller will leave a voice mail. I love my iPhone 6 in that I can just go down to the call details and block the caller. VERY NICE feature. IMO every phone service, whether cellular or land line should have a one touch or one button feature that blocks these nuisance calls. To do it through my cable company I have to log on and enter the #.GET WITH THE PROGRAM FOLKS. This is our number one annoyance and should be at the top of your programming / feature list. BLOCK THIS NUMBER IMMEDIATELY.
Called my job and my home. How do they get my number? Calls just started a few days ago. Leave me alone and do not call my job or home again.
First call from this #. C.I.D. "Virginia". Did not answer. With 25 pages of reports for this number, it's obvious that this # is "spoofed" and being used for multiple scams.
Indian accent - male - calls claiming to be from Microsoft Technical Support. Yet my phone's caller ID said "Siemens". When he claimed to be from Microsoft, I told him "My caller ID says you are from Siemens", he hung up on me. And I didn't get a chance to tell this scammer to "go eat pork, you pig f___er".
