Someone from a jail in Southern West Virginia Regional Jail, keeps calling my home and has already called 18 times. I have reported this to the local Sheriff's Dept. My phone carrier, and the Administrator from the jail the calls are coming from.Please stop these annoying phone calls... the number they are calling from come from Global tele link. 1-713-981-0098.
Getting 3 calls.day. Leaving messages in Spanish from the North County Correctional Facility (Had to have it translated) Having the calls blocked, but it is interfering with my cell phone use. It is disconnecting calls that I'm on.
Received the collect call from the "Denver County Jail." To accept this call (and the caller I might add), I must establish "a prepay account" on Visa or MasterCard. To refuse this call, hang up. No indication of who I'd be connected to once this is done? Like, right, I'm THAT stupid.SCAM
I just learned through Sprint that they will block the number from reaching my phone. I had a Droid ap to block the calls but it seemed to come through. Call your cell phone carrier to see if they can do that to help.
I have been getting the same phone calls for the last 3 days and sometimes twice a day. I don't know anyone in Texas and especially in jail.
I have a friend who is in jail so it's correct most likely that the call I just got from this number was him. I thought correctional facility calls had to display that on the caller ID. This one came to my cell phone but only displayed a number. The company doesn't even have a notice on thier website stating calls from correctional facilities may appear from that number. Consumers should be aware since prisons are where a lot of scams originate.
my young daughter keeps getting calls from this number on her cell and we had it blocked but they are still calling. bordering on harrassment with the messages being left. someone needs to smash the phone.
4 calls so far to my cell phone (now blocked) from this number starting at 1:49 AM, not appreciated. Sounded like a female voice leaving one-word messages.
