Over the Last year, we've received calls from a Mr. Joe Jackson [Black Man] asking for either or director of engineering or Chef of the restaurant. He's a solicitor. We are tired of this [guy] calling us - what can we do?

Didn't answer since caller ID said the number was from Denver CO and I don't know anyone in Denver. Person finally gave up when machine didn't pick-up.

Called our business line and said his name was Tyler and he needed to update our online business phone book add, once I told him we do not have a business profile online, he hung up.

I also got a call from this same #.I didn't answer.I now, don't answer my landline unless I know the caller when it comes up on my ID.

Got a call from this number and get a disconnect after I pick up the phone. Has happened for two days in a row around the same time of 2:41 pm. I know this is probably a solicitation call of some kind, probably about reducing my credit card debt. Pain in the a$$ !

Called to tell me I had a computer virus! Lousy connection and said his name so fast I did not get it.

Numbers that end with 1000, 2000 etc are very hard to get. They are almost always forging the caller ID your phone sees. And no need to mention SCAM!!You can file a report with www.donotcall.gov as a reference, but that's not their real number.

It must be a VOIP thing. I have a VOIP phone. I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail and it turned out to be an automated reminder call from my pharmacy here in Florida that my prescriptions were ready. Perhaps the number is part of a call center trunk line...and all the businesses who use that call center for various automated outgoing calls eventually show up as this number?

just got this call and it was a recording. it told me my computer was no longer being protected and they gave me a website to go to in order to fix it plus a code to input - can't believe anyone would fall for this crap

These people are horrible, called my mom and told her that they were her grandson and needed help. This happened the same day we brought my dad home terminally ill with hospice care. Completely freaked her out and she almost fell for it. That was several months ago; she just received another call yesterday, same scenerio. Can someone please catch these evil people already??? There is a special place in _____ for thieves like this!!
