I received a call from this number on August 28th. I'm a student at Penn State.

I have US Cellular and I just got two calls from this number and no one picked up when I answered. It's probably some kind of ads or scams.

I have also been receiving calls from this number for a week or so now. I reverse searched it on White Pages, and it came up as a Verizon landline our of Clearwater, FL, but did said the name and address are unpublished. However, on reverse look-up sites where you pay, it says the name and address are available.

I received a call from them today Aug28th. No student. I have Cellular One now, also had gotten a call from thins # when I had Cingular few months ago.

I picked up and no one answered.

Also, is there anything similar about all of us receiving these calls? I noticed one person was asked if they were recently in school. I finished school not to long ago. Just curious to see if there is a common thread.

Just got a call from the number. Asked if I had Federal Student Loans. I replied that I do not and he said he would remove me from the records. I forgot to inquire as to who the hell he was. When I called back the call could not be completed as dialed.

I didn't get to answer before they hung up, but I'm on Verizon. It's not a Cingular only thing.

I just received another call 7/9/2007 at 3:33pm, with no voicemail left.Ryan might be onto something. I just finished college in December 2006. My school sent an email a few weeks ago saying that someone stole sensitive data from the school's servers and that mine was included, however no financial data was taken. So maybe these are scammers who got our phone numbers and they're jealous that we have degrees so they decide to play phone pranks? lolMy Location: Atlanta, GaMy Provider: T-mobile

I also graduated from UNO - May 2006 - I have no student loans and have rec'd a call every week for a month. when I let voice mail pick up, they don't leave a message. When I answer, they hang up. When I call back it is either busy or "I'm sorry number can not be completed as dialed"
