I got a call this morning and did not answer it. No message was left and I thought about calling the number back but didn't. I have a private number and don't give this number to anyone except family, and it's a new number through our cable company. A newly created phone number, not one someone else had before. Anyway, just thought I would add my 2 cents. In addition to that, the phone number is registered with the do not call registry.
I have 2 calls today,in the morning, from 727-556-5772. Seems to me they have called in the past too and now it is starting up again. When I pick up no one is there and sometimes it stops ringing before I get it. There is no caller id, just the number. I have a Macy's card but am not behind and owe very little. Has anyone else recently been getting these calls/ Very annoying.
I called them back and after the 3rd try someone answered and said that it was regarding my macy's card (they also do bloomingdales(sp?) ). It was a ligit call but I did not give out any info other than my address/phone#/dob. Then he said it was regarding my payment that was not made. He asked if I wanted to make a payment by phone but I told him that I will be making the payment at the store, and then he proceeded to ask where I work or the number to my work, but I declined to let him know that info. And that was that.
Got my first call at 9:40 this morning. I googled the number and got this forum. I have a Macy's card, but I am definitely not late on any payments. I will watch this and if it continues I will contact BBB in OH. After that, it's legal action time.
I got one call this morning and another call this afternoon. Neither time they left a message, so I called them back, and a recording picked up and said "Your call may be monitored" , and then a woman picked up and said "This is credit services, My name is Ms. Davis, may I have your account # please." I then hung up the phone.
Incoming call from this number, usually nobody on other line. I got one person on the line once wanting to collect a debt. Understand they want paid, however once you hang up from the call thinking the situation has been solved the company continues to call every 5 minutes for about an hour. Even if you hang up the line. These calls are made daily all day long, my phone doesn't stop ringing.
