NO MESSAGE, NO ANSWER

Got a call this morning from this phone # which comes up as FACS on my caller ID. It's not the first time this has come up on my caller ID. The call today rang 4 times and then they hung up. I'm not going to answer anyway since I don't know who it is.

All day long.No one ever answers.

I just received two telephone calls today (3/19/2007) from this telephone number (727-556-5772). Picked up the phone when it rang and no one responded. The caller ID said "FACS". I checked online and found that this number is a St. Petersburg, FL number.

I dont have a Macy's card and have never had a Macy's card, dont know why they are calling my work number. I am in an active bankruptcy and owe NO ONE.

I just received a called. Said Hello. A male strong voice asked for me by first name. I replied: who is this. He continued with may I speak with "---". I replied: what is this in regards. He would not give up and asked is this her? I hang up. I do not usually answer calls I don't recognize--off guard. I am glad you are posting this info.

I just called Macys corporate office (513-579-7000) and explained the situation - that I dont have a Macy's card and couldn't afford to shop at Macy's even if I wanted to - and they transferred me over to the Presidential Customer Service lady who was so super nice, verified I have NO account with them - under my phone number and name - and will look into having this number removed. I suggest everyone here with a problem call this number ASAP. I don't think Macy's would be happy to know this is going on...especially since this sounds like this company is running a scam.

Last week I received several calls showing on my caller id as Clearwater, FL and didn't answer them thinking it was solicitors. Finally, after several calls in succession, I picked it up and hung up. A few days later the same thing happened so I decided to answer the call, I got the usual delay that you get with solicitor calls and a gentleman with an East Indian accent told me that I had an overdue Macy's bill. He gave me a number to call because I wanted them to send me the bill since I hadn't received any and wanted to see it first. He had me call another number to request copies and to see why I wasn't receiving them. I called the number and from what I was told my Macy's bills were being sent online which was going to my spambox and I never checked. I told them I had never requested online billing statements. Monday I received 3 billing statements. Today, I've gotten 3 calls from this phone number again and again no one is there. Then my cell phone rang twice with the same number and no one was there -- scary because I don't know how they got my cell phone #! I think I'm going to call Macy's billing dept and complain because this is not only ridiculous but bordering on harrassment. My bill was only $31!

i have been documenting the phone calls and how many times i have told them not to call again. ( to date 7 times!! ) at one point i was told to call them back to get off the list. i do not have any overdue charges with macy's, and i have filed a complaint with the do not call registry.

We have been getting calls from this number for months. I have picked up on occassion to find silence from the other end. No contact ever. Can't figure out how to stop it.
