Now, they have started putting MCCS on the caller ID instead of FACS, so I don't know what changes they've gone through, but it is Macy's. I realized a couple of days ago that I had forgotten to pay my bill, and I paid it online, and they are the WORST about not checking to see if you've already paid. You would think they could do some kind of automated check to see if a payment has been made, even if they are an outsourced company. I can't tell you how many times I have paid my bill on time and they STILL call. And their Indian accents are so thick you CANNOT carry on a conversation.

I'm getting calls from 727-556-5772, for the people who my number before me almost 7 years at this point. They claimed their company name was HCL technologies

Got calls from this number around 9:45 am eastern time. And on one of thoser calls I picked up but no response. Also got a voicemail (an Indian/West indies sounding lady)from this number 1-800-973-6229, asked me to return their call ITS A BUSINESS MATTER! Out of curiosity, I called them back and first thing they asked was "YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER", asked them WHAT ACCOUNT? WHO ARE YOU? WHAT COMPANY IS THIS? Thought its not legit since when they answered the call they don't even introduce themselves, they right away ask for your account, what kind of company is that, doesn't have a good phone courtesy, found out its a credit company that handles Macys and Bloomingdales acct. The thing is, if you have an account from those stores, is it better that you checked it yourself by going on-line rather giving your info over the phone who you don't even know if that person is legit. Its better to be more cautious than regret later.

Received three calls from this number, claiming I owed Macy's $40. Wanted my DOB, SSN, and quoted an incorrect home adddress. The individuals could not tell me where purported purchase was made nor on what date. I have not used my Macy's charge card in months. Asked them to bill me and to date no bill has been issued.

I just had a call from this number, 727-556-5772. I called it back and got a "Mr. Chamberlain". I asked who they were, and he stated "FDS Bank", which upon further probing is "Federated Department Stores Bank", AKA Macy*s, Bloomingdales, and all Federated stores. He was very pleasant; I told him about this site and about the many people who have gotten annoying phone calls from them. He apologized. Said it must be the automatic dialer, as none of my Federated department store cards are late or delinquent. So maybe they'll leave me alone now?

Missed the call but it showed as a message on my phone, don' recognize the number so will not call back.

Several calls a day both to land line and cell phone. Recording states, "We have a very importnat message for you. All our operators are busy..." then silence and no one answers.
