This is happening to me right now:( I'm looking for advise how to deal with this company, I'm hoping Global News Tony Tighe will look into this scam

I agree 100% with your comment about the 2 responses.When I read those 2 responses I almost fell off my chair laughing.Obviously it's Cedar or someone from there trying to cover up.The Scam continues

I received a fax asking to proof an ad by the end of October that we have no record of ordering. I called the number on the fax and was put through to a very aggressive manager by the name of Moe saying he is 100% positive he has authorization from one of the owners of our company for the ad. He said he spoke to him personally. The specific owner he said he talked to was and is out of the country. Moe said he would extent the proof until he returned. I suggested he resend the proof with the modified date which he has not sent. This is not something our company would have advertised in which made me a little suspicious and it is totally out of character for the owner they mentioned to order anything with out consultation with the other owner.

The name is a fake...more than likely a scare tactic. We dealt with this Bozo Moe a little over a year ago, they can't do a thing. The fair trading act won't allow it. Besides, a fax is not a contract. They have to produce a signed contract from you to even get close to a lawyer. We found out quite a bit, like how they were no longer accredited through the BBB. Absolutely no affiliation with Child Find or Crime Stoppers, etc, ect.Tell them to go to hell...even call the police for harassment if you need to. In fact, everyone should ban together and take him to court...we would all win!

becasue you paid your bill...YOU CAN CHARGE THEM WITH FRAUD!!! the rest of us that did not pay our bill can not until we pay and get nothing!!!CHARGE HIM!!!!

call the competition bureau...google it...file a complaint. they are the goverment agency that can arrest these dorks

This Mo guy did the same scumbag thing to us in Winnipeg pretending to be from Child Find Magazine. Then asked if they could send a fax proof and then when they did I saw it in the fax called to ask what this was about and when they said it was a proof for an ad I told them we weren't interested. Then they said we had to advertise with them because we'd waited past the date to cancel to call but we called the same day we got the fax and they fraudulently back dated the fax. This Mo guy is a dirty scumbag. If you get a call from them hang up do not even speak to them. We have notified the police and the government and have been told they are conducting an investigation. Look them up online and you'll see that they have a long history of this type of behavior. Mo is a scumbag.
