Got a call in heavily accented English that they were wanted to update my windows comouter, told her i would get my husband who was with the RCMP fraud division to speak to her manager and she hung up

I JUST GOT THIS CALL AND REFUSED TO ANSWER IT THAN I LOOKED IT UP AND FOUND THIS SITE THEY WONT GET ME HAHAHAHA!
I just got a call from this number telling me I'm being sent money for a grant and it didn't need to be paid back. This Indian speaking woman had all my information. Name, address, phone number etc. It was a little scary and I could hear tons of voices in the background. I'm at work and my phone never rings so I thought it might be an emergency at home and just answered it without looking at the number. UGH!!! This has to stop life is hard enough without being preyed upon.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
