Falsely claims to be Dish network. Clearly a sales company.Claims "Do Not Call List" expired, when the law states numbers have no expiry.
This number called when I was out. Left no message. Shows as Dish Network. I do not have Dish Network service and I am on the both my state and federal do not call lists.
Called me this morning but I have them blocked. Actually I've had them blocked since October of 2016. They still call every now and then. They're clearly a SCAM....
Got a call from 732-965-3474 saying Dish needed to update receiver to make it compatible with outside satellite...asked for first two numbers on menu screen which I gave to her. (sounded weird) Then asked for my account password which I did not give. Also asked for last four numbers of SS# which I did not give. She tried to set an appointment for a "technician" to meet with me. I told her I was unavailable to meet with anyone morning or evening. I asked for a number to call back. She gave me 800-333-3474 and told me to ask for Elisha when I called. (wonder if she is the only one working for the company)??????????
These nutwipes called me today. I did not recognize the number so I did not answer the phone. The Caller ID information: 1-800-333-3474. Company: Dish Purch Corp. There was no message. Probably a scammer. By the way, Dish is on the news, being investigated for making millions of illegal telemarketing calls. The fine per each "illegal" call is quite a chunk of change. And think about it: multiply millions, maybe billions, of people who have received such calls by the amount of the fine(s). *sigh* I'd be happy if somebody just made the calls stop.
I didn't cancel my directv just downgraded my package. Now I'm getting calls from Dish. Coincidence, I think not.
