Caller (barely spoke English) said he was from Anthem Blue Cross and was offering me a free benefit called complex care. I could access an RN or Pharmacist 24 hours a day if I couldn't reach my doctor. When he asked me for my ID number I refused to give it to him and told him I wasn't interested. He then hung up.

Caller is asking for a person who doesn't live here got disconnected. I returned the call and got ANTHEM BLUE CROSS but I didn't believe her so I hung up on her

This is you health insurance company Anthem calling with a free benefit to our insured clients. Please provide address and birthdate to assure we are speaking to the right person. It's required by HIPPA. This is the second round of calls we have received. They don't just call once they call over and over and over. When I refused to provide personal information to them, like my birthdate, they get positively annoyed. They callled at 8:15pm tonight again and I am filing a complaint with Anthem.

It's not just a motherhood program. I don't have any children and I'm not married and nobody in my family is pregnant. It's BC/BS trying to sell you one of their various extra programs.

THIS IS PART OF BCBS AND NOT JUST A BABY PROGRAM. THEY CALLED ME AFTER A SURGERY HAD BEEN DENIED MULTIPLE TIMES TO FIND OUT HOW THEY COULD HELP ME MEET THE CRITERIA TO HAVE SURGERY DONE, WHICH I THOUGHT WS ACTUALLY NICE. HOWEVER I HAVE MET ALL CRITERIA, WHICH I INFORMED THE NURSE & SHE ACTUALLY AGREED THAT I DID NEED IT AND WAS SENDING MY CASE BACK FOR REVIEW, WHICH IN 5 YRS NOT ONE PERSON FROM BLUE CROSS HAS EVER OFFERED TO HELP ME WITH THIS. I DIDNT HAVE TO GIVE ANY INFO, SHE ALREADY KNEW EVERYTHING THAT WAS GOING ON. ALL IN ALL I HAFTA SAY IT WAS A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

it's complex care program of blue cross . it's free to those who have specific health problems but it's worth about as much as you pay. ... get it? it's worthless. e.g. they will offer to help if I need advice on whether to go to the ER. Duh.......!

I receive calls from the same number. It IS a Blue Cross related thing. It is NOT JUST the Baby program. It is a condition management program. If you have asthma and or COPD (as I do) they are interested in talking with you (a lot) to help you stay healthier without having to spend much more of their money on you. That's all.

Wife got a call tonight from "Alan" obviously a fake name since he was speaking in barely understandable english. Says he works for Anthem BC/BS, but has the wrong company that my wife works for as his information. When my wife asked where he got the info, he got defensive and kept repeating the wrong info to her. Funny thing is, she canceled her Anthem insurance over 2 months ago, so you would think she wouldn't be on a "true" call list for Anthem. I think its a company that gets names,numbers from insurance companies, and tries to sell additional services. Just a little FYI, ANY number can be spoofed and made to show up on caller ID, so please don't use Caller ID as proof of who is calling you.

Additionally, each of you receiving calls from this number (especially if it is more than a single time) have explicitly given your permission in some manner for them to call you and I know that as fact.
